Brighton has seen a surge in demand for her products, and it’s driving a huge demand in her local beauty industry.
“We have a very good relationship with our local beauty suppliers, but now with a growing number of beauty professionals and salons using the products, we’re finding that demand is really high,” Ms Brighton said.
“[We’re seeing] demand from our patients as well, and we’ve seen people come in and say, ‘Hey, I’m a beauty patient, I’ve had a bad skin reaction, I have a problem with my makeup or I’ve been allergic to it.
I have this really bad reaction to salons’.” The demand for Brighton products has been so great, the local beauty supply chain is in a state of panic.
Brighton has to sell her products directly to customers, who have to pay upfront fees to Brighton.
Ms Brighton also has to keep her salon operating, which is expensive, and her business is struggling.
She is currently trying to find a new source of revenue.
“I’ve got a lot of work to do, and that’s why I’m working really hard to try and find a way to keep it going,” she said.
