Dr. Youssef El-Erian, a leading geneticist in the field of medicine, is at the forefront of this effort.

Professors Yehuda Y. Kupfer and Dr. Zvi M. El-Bashir, as well as Professors Avi Zvulun, Ilan Ben-Ari and Dr Moshe Regev, are also part of the institute.
They are leading the Bioscience and Biomedical Research Institute at the Department for Health, Labour and Welfare.
This institute, founded in 2010, is a major hub in the biotechnology industry.
As of now, the BioSciences and Biomedicine Institute of Jerusalem, the largest centre in the Jewish state, is also a major centre.
In 2016 alone, it received more than a million applications from around the world for research grants.
The university has a strong presence in Israel and its students and staff are highly motivated.
Prof. Avi Y. Ben-Ner, Director of the BIO-Israel Institute of Science, Technology and Medicine, is an expert in biotechnology and a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University.
His lab is also in the Biomaterials Institute of Technology.
The Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Biotechnologies (BIBI), in collaboration with the Israeli Academy of Sciences and other institutes, has established the Biomedics Research Center in the Medical Faculty of the University Health System.
It is part of a multi-institution effort to provide research support to the health sector.
Profits in the biotech sector The biotech sector in Israel is booming.
This sector has the potential to generate an additional $7.5 billion by 2020, which is the most of any other industry in the state of Israel, according to the Institute of Economic Research.

Prof Kupfern, who is also president of the board of directors of the Israeli Biotechnology Industry, said: “It is a big deal to me that the country’s biotech sector has developed so much since the 1970s.
We have a number of very promising companies.
They will contribute to the country in a positive way.”
Dr. Elbazat, a senior research scientist at the Institute for Medical Microbiology and Immunology, has a similar view.
